For medium to long term storage, your red wines should be kept at a constant temperature between 12-15°C; 50-70% humidity; with limited UV light; with bottles lying horizontally to keep the cork wet; and with minimal vibration.
Optimal serving temperature is 16-18°C for full bodied red wines; 10-13°C for full-bodied white wines (e.g. Chardonnay); 7-10°C for light-bodied white wines; and 6-8°C for sweet wines and Cap Classique/Champagne.
Yes - EuroCave wine ageing fridges feature a humidity regulation system using embossed aluminium walls and natural condensation management. Real time display in our wine ageing fridges allows humidity monitoring at any time. An alarm alerts you if levels are too low or too high.
The ideal humidity level in a wine fridge is between 60% and 80%. This level of humidity helps preserve the elasticity of corks and prevents them from drying out. If humidity is too low: the cork may dry out, air may enter the bottle and the wine may oxidise. If humidity is too high, mould may appear on labels or corks.

The serial number can be found on the appliance ID sticker located at the bottom right side inside the wine cabinet; and/or on the similar sticker located at the external back of the cabinet. This number is important if you need to process a warranty, parts or service enquiry.
